Charlotte Hill a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy. She researches how American election laws impact political participation, especially among young people. In addition to her academic work, Charlotte sits on the national boards of FairVote and RepresentUs and previously served as senior advisor to Vote From Home 2020, where she ran multiple randomized controlled experiments aimed at boosting turnout for the general election. Charlotte is the former vice president of the San Francisco Elections Commission, where she helped oversee local election administration. Charlotte’s research has been featured in numerous media outlets, including the New York Times, CNN, Vox, and NPR.
