Julian Hayes is a Research Assistant with The People Lab and a Master of Public Policy candidate at the Goldman School of Public Policy. Prior to starting graduate school, he spent eight years working in education as a bilingual classroom teacher, instructional coach, and education policy analyst. His interest is in using quantitative and qualitative methods to research and promote policies that broaden academic and economic opportunities for children and youth from marginalized communities. Julian holds a B.A. in Political Science and Dramatic Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.A. in Education from the University of Colorado—Denver.
